Competition Team
This pathway is designed for students looking to develop their performance skills and train at a higher level.
Our competition team is invite-only, designed for students who demonstrate commitment, potential, and a strong work ethic. Students are welcome to express an interest, with invitations made at the discretion of our teaching team.
Training & Commitment
Competition students follow a structured training programme and are required to take Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Troupe classes, with group work forming the foundation of the team.
Troupe is the first stage of competitive training, developing performance quality, discipline, and team cohesion.
Expectations
Students are expected to:

Show consistent progress

Work hard in class

Practise independently outside of class
Competition training requires commitment, focus, and a positive attitude.
Further Opportunities
Once established within the team, dancers may be invited to compete in:

Trios
Alongside their group work.
Competitions
All competition team members are required to attend compulsory festivals during:

Easter half term
-
October half term
These events provide valuable performance experience in a professional and supportive environment.
